Summer Chamber Music Workshop

We are a group of Suzuki piano teachers who want our students to know the joy of ensemble playing. We are asking for your help.

Dates: July 8 -12, 2013
Location: Orchestra Hall; 4401 Lake Trails Blvd; Fort Worth
Fee: $300.00

STRING FACULTY: Paul Landefeld, Rigo Murillo, Christine Rewolinski

Daily Curriculum for string students:

Introduction to Piano Trio - Most ensembles will be Triolet arrangements by Joseph McSpadden or David See and do not have difficult string parts. Students do need to be able to read music. Parts will be sent to the student for advance preparation.
Chamber Orchestra
Musicianship Class - Helps students understand the role of rhythm, pitch, phrasing and basic principles  of music interpretation used by professional musicians.
Concert performance of every ensemble on the final day of the workshop.
Solo performance on July 9, 2013 if selected by audition. Audition deadline is June 10, 2013.  Upload your video to You Tube, send the link to Cathy Hargrave at cwhargrave@aol.com.
